The Photographer

Since my birth name is Sunshine I will admit I have always had an affinity for nature's light- the sun. I love the way it lights up the eyes, and adds depth and dimension to portraits. I am also a very proficient studio photographer. There is something to be said for the clean tones of studio lighting as well.

I am now offering both on-location natural light photography and studio photography in my home.

My Style

I take great pride in what I do and I believe this shines through in my work. My style is fun and contemporary,  fresh and modern, bold and vivid, bright and lively... and not at all ordinary.

I prefer to showcase your child's real emotions and expressions and provide you with a collection of images that represent your child's true spirit.

I guide each session gently and do not force smiles or unnatural expressions. I really prefer to capture children as they are and this does not always mean big happy smiles. In fact, I adore photos of children who have natural non-smiley expressions, as is evident in my galleries! Some children are serious, some are silly, some are old souls, some are fresh and hip, but most are all of the above!

I see the beauty in each and every little person I encounter and prefer to capture them as they are. I know how quickly each phase passes in childhood and I want to capture those special times for you. My goal is to present you with portraits that you will feel proud to display for a lifetime.
